  • First of all let me say I discovered Mr D Cohen from reviews off the consultants register. I liked what I read, and decided to have a private consultation with him.

    From the first meeting I knew i would be in safe hands. Not only is he a great surgeon but a good listener he really connects with his patients.

    He understood that although I'm almost 81 that my sport as a runner and past Triathlete meant a lot to me, and to a degree I still wanted to be the best version of me.

    I had my Operation on 29th May via a spinal anesthesia. I was able to go home 24 hours later and my daughter has flown from her home in Spain to look after me.

    After 4 weeks I've dumped the crutches and now the walking stick is just there for slight support. My incision has healed well and I hope to swim again soon.

    Thank you so much for Mr Cohen making my life bearable again Hopefully a 5k in the Autumn (small steps first)
